Trust is confidence in someone's reliability and ability to
act in a certain way, based on past experiences. What does this have to do with Christ?
My friends, the issue is with us and not with Christ. He has already given us all the lessons in His Word to emphasize that we can indeed trust Him. When we turn to Christ in prayer, we should really trust Him that He hears, answers,
and will resolves all our needs?
We as Christians usually wait to see if our prayers will be answered to get confirmation that He hears, and
depending on the answer, to determine if we can trust Him. Is that how it should work?
When we feel this way, it might be because we do not trust Him. Christ invites us to enter into a relationship of
trust with our heavenly Father, when he said in Mark 11:23-24 “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this
mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things
he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask
when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Christ wants us to enter into a personal
relationship of trust with Him.
Pray, trust Christ, and know that He will always come through for you.
