NoLo. Where Amazing Happens.

Can we Pray too Much?

In Daniel 6:10, the scripture informed us that the custom of the Jewish leaders was to pray three times a day.
These leaders joined the priest in prayer at the time of the daily morning and evening sacrifices, and they also prayed
at midday.

There was a feeling among some rabbis that those were the only times the people should pray.
Why did some rabbis think that the people should not pray at other times? Wasn’t the idea of prayer something that
should be done at any time, and as often as a person chose? Some rabbis taught that to pray more than three
times daily, would be to disturb God.

Friends, we can never disturb God! We can call upon Him at anytime, He is always ready, waiting, and anxious to
hear from us. He not only hears all our prayers; but is happy to hear from us.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV :Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the
will of God in Christ Jesus for you”
